Xiaomi’s ‘No.1 Mi Fan’ sale comes to stores near your house

Last week, Xiaomi had announced a ‘No.1 Mi Fan Sale’ for Xiaomi fans on its online store Mi.com. But for those of you who missed the train to get their hands on the Xiaomi devices, the company has announced discounts that are available offline via 15 Mi Home stores — the retail experience store from the Chinese smartphone maker — across 6 cities in the country. These offers will be valid till January 1.

As part of the sale, Xiaomi is offering discount on 7 smartphones and various accessories including routers, power banks, earphones, charger and more.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 smartphone will be available at a discount of Rs 3,000. Selling at Rs 35,999, the smartphone is currently available at Rs 32,999. The Xiaomi Mi A1 smartphone is also available at a discount of Rs 2,000 at Rs 12,999. The Redmi Note 4 is also available during this sale at Rs 10,999 after a discount of Rs 1,000. As part of this sale, the Mi Max 2 handset will be available at Rs 1,000 discount at Rs 12,999 for 32GB storage and Rs 14,999 for 64GB storage variant. Lastly, the Redmi 4 smartphone that sells at Rs 8,999 for 3GB RAM+32GB storage and Rs 4GB RAM+64Gb internal storage get a discount of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 respectively bring their prices down to Rs 8,499 and Rs 9,999.

Xiaomi is also running Mi exchange offer where you can exchange your old smartphone at these Mi Home Stores. This is being run by Cashify.com in Cashify Portfolio.

The company has been increasing its offline presence in the country and has said that India is the biggest market for the company outside China and the aim is to sustain its growth in the country. “India is the biggest market for us outside of China and the focus is to keep growing in India. We have invested a lot of resources to build the entire India business, it is not just about coming and selling phones. We have set up infrastructure from a manufacturing stand point as well as from distribution and service stand point. At present, we have more than 650 plus service centres across 350 cities in the country,” Raghu Reddy, head of Online Sales, Xiaomi India, said.
